Terms of Service

Shepherd Station provides churches with tools for marketing and member communication, including websites, Google and Facebook advertising integration, contact management, forms, text and email follow-up sequences, broadcast messaging, and giving tools.

Each organization receives one account with roles for its owner, administrators, and team members. You are responsible for keeping credentials secure and for the activity that happens under your account.

New organizations begin with a free 14-day trial. No card is required to start a trial.

After the trial, Shepherd Station is billed monthly at the rate shown at signup. Payments are processed through Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled, and you can cancel at any time from your billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not prorate or refund partial months.

Payments for church giving are entirely separate: each church connects its own payment account, and gifts go directly to the church. We never hold or take a cut of giving.

Your organization's data — contacts, messages, forms, giving records, website content — belongs to your church. We use it only to run the service for you, and we never sell it or share it with other churches. You can export or request deletion of your data at any time. The Church Data Agreement has more detail.

You agree to use Shepherd Station lawfully. In particular: obtain proper consent before texting or emailing people, honor opt-outs promptly, follow all applicable laws including telemarketing and anti-spam rules (TCPA, CAN-SPAM), and don't use the service for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Shepherd Station connects to providers you authorize, such as Twilio (texting and calls), Stripe (payments), Facebook and Instagram, Google, and email delivery services. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms, and some features depend on their approval processes (for example, carrier registration for texting).

We work to keep the service available and dependable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update the platform and these Terms over time; material changes will be communicated in advance. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for non-payment or serious violation of these Terms. If your account ends, we will make your data available for export for a reasonable period before deleting it.
